Namco has updated their community websiteblog with some new videos about their upcoming Tales of Game Xillia. The update is a set of 3 videos that introduce characters and some features, such as costumes, limited edition items, and anime cross-over items. Much like Vesparia, Xillia is based around a male lead character, and again the manga based on the game will also follow in those exact footsteps. CHECK OUT VIDEOS HERE
I am a huge fan of the Tales of Series of games, as for the anime shows not so much with the exception of the Tales Of Vesparia Movie which is fantastic by the way and still not published in North America. I really want to see a bigger and better North American release for Xillia IE: Duel Language, Complete story with full cast as intended and full access to DLC. If they can get it right this time round I would be a very happy consumer.
Why do I mention this you ask? Well Tales of Vesparia was never released in America on the PS3, so we got the XBox360 version, which was good but missing duel language, a cast member, some side quests, and some dlc. To me it was annoying but not a complete deal breaker as the English cast was decent and the game itself was awesome despite middle of the road reviews. I really want the PS3 release this time round Namco, make it happen!
I totally agree. This game looks like it will be great (despite people saying its just a clone). I, too am looking forward to a dual language release and its one of the major things that I feel Vesparia was missing. Even still.. I have to give them props for what they did with the 360 version. They did a lot for what they had and were extremely limited by the capacity of DVDs.
