Welcome to day 2 of Anime Expo, wow this is coming late, meh enjoy anyway!
Sorry about the late updates no Internets and a lack of time but we have been busy to say the least.
First thing in the morning we went to the Bandai Panel here is the report:
Shows announced
.Hack // GU movie

Sola
Code Geass R2
Gundam 00
Gurren Laggan
Manga announced
Gundam 00 F

WitchBlade Takeru Duel books
Movie surprise
Eureka Seven Movie
Overall it was a boring panel with little new news and not enough swag to go around. I must say this company holds a lot of good cards but plays them very poorly.
We spent time in the dealers room meeting and greeting many of venders and booth peeps, did some heavy investing, and took pictures along the way, it was as expected very busy but a good crowd is not that bad to deal with and the people were very personal and fun. Our buddy’s at Hen de Nae were in full swing and huge Shout out to them “Keep doing what you do!” We will continue to support our friends and we suggest you check them out, huge selection of hentai, yaoi, games, dojin, hug pillow covers, sheets, and ect.
After leaving the dealers room we headed back to the Westin to take a short break and drop off purchases. One note about the buses some of them are school busses and some of them are charter grey hound style busses regardless of what you type of buss you got onto it beats walking. Speaking of which Anime Expo DID NOT ENFORCE their hardcore NEW rules for the hotel towers and ever so barely for the buses, only returning to the convention was I ever checked. So good news to the convention goers overall, less tape is generally better.
That said we rode back to the convention center and went to a few panels and shot pictures from time to time. We came back hit the dealer’s room and headed back to the Ani-Plex panel.
Ani-Plex release panel
Full metal Alchemist Season 2 – got license
Gurren Laggon: The Movie
Guin Saga
Kuroshitsuji aka Black Butler
Kannagi – Hell ya good no US license yet ong!
Kara no Kyokai: The Garden of Sinners
Cennoroll
Announcements were dry overall and only one of the shows they previewed had a license for USA distribution. Many of the shows shown were very good, so I do have hope for the titles, I personally have seen a few the shows featured and can say that they deserve to be picked up and sold here. No raffle and people asked retarded questions back to back, it was a waste of time overall.
We stayed for anime Trivia which was epic fail, So much fail in one room at one time. I think this sort of failure should never be repeated at such a large convention, they need to overhaul this event badly.
We took a break after that and had little left to do that day so we had some fun at the Westin, kicked back some Drinks and went to bed.
