Manga on the Ipad Rant

I found a few articles in regards to this idea,

and I have my own opinion on the subject. I should first state that I think it is a cool idea to put manga on the Ipad but Apple has a slightly different stance about it. Apple is very picky about the content on their devices, and anything they deem adult, bad, or non becoming of an Apple product they will not allow onto their app store or for download via Itunes store. So this is where I get my stance against Apple, I don’t think Apple should be able to decide for end consumers what they can or cannot read. Manga has many genres and levels of content that vary from family friendly all the way to hardcore adult, and everything in between.

Just because it has some gay or lesbian themes Apple deems it inappropriate content and won’t allow it. Nudity or excessive bad words no sir Apple won’t let that fly. Sex or love making nope! Bashing of Apple products oh guess what, no! Hmm wow, even if the manga just has 1 scene in it the whole thing is denied, so to get the manga clear the publisher must remove the content or censor it . Wow Apple you really need to grow a pair and a content rating system that would allow all types of content. I say the manga industry should stay off Apple products until freedom of content is allowed. Apple does not want you to think, feel or engage in the idea of freedom.
