Huge news for those heading to Anime Expo this year, Some huge names have been added to the already stellar line up of guests.
First and foremost and a huge thanks to Toyota for bringing Hatsune Miku to the Stage in North America She will be headlining a full length Concert this year at AX! We at animeroot.com are very excited and already secured tickets to her show which is guaranteed to sell out fast, so get your registration done and get your tickets now. This concert will use the 3d stage projection system and will feature a live band playing along side Miku. It will be epic, if you love Miku you have to be there. Bring the leeks I’ll bring the steamroller!
Second huge announcement, game producer and president of Nippon Ichi Software, Inc., Sohei Niikawa will be a guest at this years AX! This man is a huge celebrity in the gaming world and is well respected in the anime community to boot. Here’s more info from Nippon Ichi Software
For those that aren’t familiar with Mr. Niikawa, he is the creative force behind such popular NIS games as the “Disgaea” series, the “Prinny” series, “Phantom Brave, Z.H.P.: Unlosing Ranger VS Darkdeath Evilman,” and more. This is an incredibly opportune chance for all those that are fans of our games, because Mr. Niikawa is slated to participate in attendee panels, meet-and-greet sessions, and will also sign autographs!
We are super excited to have the opportunity to meet Mr.Niikawa this year at AX, make sure to bring something nice to be autographed, this man rarely is seen state side. Take the time to say thanks for all the great games and memorable characters.
