Neko mimi or cat ears are huge on the animecosplay scene. I think they are cute and this set of ears take that concept of cute and makes it super awesome cool. The makers of these neuor neko ears Neurowear has publicly tested these ears on people and plans to sell them by the end of 2011, I want a pair now! Cost, well not a word about cost has trickled out but If I had to guess they will probably cost somewhere between $120-$200, but again this is just an educated guess.
So how do they work? Well you wear them on your head, their is band that wraps around from ear to ear and one across the top and they read the electrical signals your brain generates. When you think or concentrate on something or someone the ears react by moving up. As your thoughts change or you focus on the ears they also engage by flopping down or flicking. These things are a little big but if you have long hair you can cover up the bands, and they are wicked cool.
