As you might know Fate/Zero was a book series that documented the accounts of an older holy grail battle, so it is a prequel to Fate Stay Night.
That said things are different, if you recall their are several endings to fatestay night, fatezero does not have that going on, as it is a book not a game. But the story focus still stays with Saber and the rest of the guardians and their masters. From what I can tell fatezero is due out this Fall in Japan and it looks to be good.
