As of Today (date posted above) the Tokyo Sky Tree in well Tokyo Japan is the tallest Tower in the world. It stands at an astonishing 634 meters, that’s 2080 feet! That’s a little under 2 Empire State buildings stack on top of each other. This record is for towers not buildings, and Guinness made it official today. So why is it not a building? Well first off it has no floors, secondly no offices or rentable spaces, and lastly the tower has no inner building makings, it’s just a tower with communication dishes attached at the top, and a observation deck. The tallest building in the world still stands in Dubai The Grand Burj Khalifa standing at a mind blowing 2,716 feet, thats 620 feet taller then the Tokyo Sky Tree but it’s a building, with floors and offices, pretty crazy in my opinion.
