She’s cute, she’s sexy, she lives in the heart of the cards. Dark Magician Girl is a monster from the children’s card game Yu-Gi-Oh. She has an interesting pose and is accurate to her image from the show. Dark Magician Girl’s costume has been reproduced under the strict supervision of the author Kazuki Takahashi.

Her cape is draped and sized just right, the pentagram on her chest is fantastic, and her hat resembles the Dark Magicians cap is also very nice. She has jewels in her costume and her prop wand, they are made of a clear plastic but look very nice and offer depth. Her base is black and has a spell on it and is a nice base overall.
The paint on this figure is good for the price, you will notice some dust and some paint imperfections, nothing major. If your looking with the bare eye from a foot away you not would notice, but the camera does not lie about the fine details up close. The pose again is sexy and very interesting to look at. She is very cute, her eyes are and hair are very nicely put together. Much care was given to the her design and construction. Kotobukiya has always produced a very high quality product and at a fair price, this figure is no exception. It’s construction is solid, and it’s made of high quality materials, and painted lovingly.

She comes with 2 faces but I only had one as this figure was loaned to me for a day by a fan. This figure also came with a key chain. You can still get this figure online from Amazon or eBay or most anime toy outlets. A huge thanks to the owner for letting me shoot his figure. Thanks!

Pros: Good size, fair price, high quality overall

Cons: Some paint issues

Our Final thoughts: We had a debate about her pantsu being white, or even being visible; but in the end we settled on if visible white as a universal color, though I think she should have had stripes or dots. Sort of an odd conversation but What do you think?
