Sentai Filmworks has been busy as of late, picking up many titles ranging from small unheard of ova’s like I.C.E. to full blown pop culture icon status anime series such as High School of the Dead. As of recent they picked up Persona 4, well before it has hit air in Japan I might add. I am surprised that NIS America did not bid on this title as the Persona series has been a staple of the company, just kind of an interesting thought to kick around. I have high hopes for this, but I really hope Sentai does not try to PUMP up the show by changing the story and character dialog heavily as they did with High School of the Dead . But I really should not pass judgment till I watch the show, and that’s going to be a good while. We will see in time, but this is exciting news.
