Rumor: Gorillaz to Return in 2016 with a New Album

Damon Albarn┬árevealed in October 2014 that, following the release of his solo LP Everyday Robots, he was next setting his sights on a variety of projects, including a new Gorillaz record that he had earmarked for 2016 – Rolling Stone.

I have some high hope for a new Gorillaz album, Recently Released new photos and concepts are pointing towards a green light. But it could all be light and mirrors to test the waters as Mr.Albarn is a very busy gentleman. Rumors have been floating around since October 2014 about a comeback but only recently have some substance meat been put on those bones. The supergroup is large rare and hard to keep together and alive kinda of creature. Superbands don’t last, for numerous reasons, money, creative differences, clashing personalities, the list goes on. I will keep my eyes open for further news as it tip toes in.
