Today Tokyo pop has announced that it is has current plans to publish the manga adaptation of the beloved children’s book series Where’s Waldo. In the adaptation Waldo gets lost in a crowd in Tokyo, at various anime conventions, and even in other popular manga titles.
Tokyo pop made a statement about the new series “Waldo is the future of all manga, the next time you see a pair of white and red striped panties you will think, wow I want to find Waldo now!” Stating further that the reading age of the new waldo will be 16+ and will contain nudity, violence, and of course Waldo. Tokyo Pop hopes to publish its first volume before the end of the world on 12-21-2012.
