Music: Gorillaz Full Circle Stylo into The Future

Many people have seen the “Stylo” Video, not many people have watched the video that followed it, “Melancholy Hill” and even less people have seen “Do Ya Thing” the latest video from Gorillaz. The Plastic Beach album from 2010 is a good listen overall but not my favorite Gorillaz album of all time, but it has a totally different atmosphere from prior albums. It’s darker, has a more powerful message and a very large budget. Honestly almost too unique, and bit too out there at times. Cyborb Noodle is something else.

Still I must say I’m impressed the Gorillza have been around for 10 years and still continue to produce fresh tunes, sick videos and impressive collaborations. The Gorillaz latest album ‘The Fall’ really flew under the radar, it was recorded on the road and it features so much talent and is once again completely different in style. This brings us to this year 2012, and only until recently have the Gorillaz’s been on the music scene for Converse the shoe company. They have put out there decade of singles album and some really cool shoes and oh ya a great music video with a song titled “Do Ya Thing”

There are rumors swirling about a new album for 2013, but it’s just a rumor at this point. I really want to see another album, what about you?
