Soaring an incredible 2080 Feet into the Sky the Tokyo SkyTree is an engineering marvel. A Wonder of the world and currently the tallest tower in the world. If you find yourself in Tokyo it is worth the trip, it does cost about 40 bucks to get to the very top but if you are an out of state visiter you get priority over locals and a discount pass so take advantage of that. On a busy day the wait can over 2 hours, we got up in about 15 minutes.
Oh and if heights are not your thing take a look around the area it is full blown shopping mall and district. Want something old, take a walk 15 minutes north or south and you will find some huge parks with shrines.
